Jubilee Year 2025

“Pilgrims of Hope"

Pope Francis stated in his February 2022 letter announcing the Jubilee 2025: "We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision. The forthcoming Jubilee can contribute greatly to restoring a climate of hope and trust as a prelude to the renewal and rebirth that we so urgently desire..."

This weekend marks the start of the 2025 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal in our parish and throughout the Archdiocese of Hartford.. If you haven’t already,

you will soon receive a letter from Archbishop Coyne seeking your support. As Catholics in the Archdiocese

of Hartford we can have a profound impact on our local communities not only spiritually, but intimately

connected to it, the realm of social services and many charities and outreach services performed by, or with

help from, our Church.  We hope you can help us meet our parish goal.

Join the St. John XXIII Parish Bus that will head to the Rally and March.  Sign ups, first come, first served basis, will be available the first two weekends in the month of March.

The Stations of the Cross, also known as the Way of the Cross or Via Crucis, commemorate Jesus's passion and death on the cross. There are 14 stations that each depict a moment on his journey to Calvary, usually through sacred art, prayers, and reflections.

ON GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 2025

10 AM Stations of the Cross will be prayed on the boardwalk along the beach.  

Starting at St. John Vianney Church.

SOLEMNITY OF SAINT JOSEPH
SPOUSE OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19, 2025
6:30 PM ENGLISH MASS
ST. LOUIS CHURCH

All are invited to share non-perishable food that will be placed on our St. Joseph Day Table in the church and blessed following the Mass.  Food will be donated to local food pantries.  Coffee And will also follow the blessing in the church hall.

The regularly scheduled 12 PM Mass this day will not be celebrated due to the Connecticut March for Life.  The Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 PM as announced for the Solemnity of St. Joseph.
